THE RESERVATION
It all started when I wanted to make a very special present for my wife (My wife an ardent “Shiv Bhakt” always wanted to visit annamalaiyar temple in tiruvannamalai). It should be something special and revive or reinforce the moment of connection between us. A simple hotel was not enough for me. I came across a personal recommendation on the website of the Manasarovar Homes. With just under three hours journey time from chennai, the serviced apartment was an ideal place for us. Also, the concept and the kitchen convinced me to choose Manasarovar Homes for our stay. And, without further ado I booked a luxurious apartment for my wife and me. How exciting!
OUR ARRIVAL AT THE SERVICED APARTMENT
Already on arrival my wife and I had a good gut feeling. Once, because we were already taken on arrival at the reception and supported the luggage, on the other hand, because the serviced apartment was powerful and large with their thick walls in front of us, the sky was blue and we were totally looking forward to our stay. Even the parking of our car was taken over for us and so we could hold hands and walk directly to our apartment.
THE WAIT IS OVER: WE CHECK IN!
My Wife especially liked that we did not “just” get the room keys, but also the house was explained to us. For example, we were pointed to the small house sketch within the room pass-case and the general opening, breakfast and also parking times. Our anticipation rose and at the latest when we were taken to our bedroom, my wife discovered the little surprise – a kettle along with teabags and coffee sachets – we were in good hands that our stay would be a very special experience. After a brief introduction to the room by the friendly staff, we took the offer to us – of course, after a little peace with coffee in the balcony.
THE TEMPLE VISIT & THE FOOD
The afternoon was over, we relaxed after a lunch and tea in our room and were looking forward to the evening. The highlight was namely the visit to Annamalaiyar temple for us. We had a great darshan of supreme lord shiva. Once the temple visit was over we headed straight to the hotel nearby. The food was great and we had a lot to talk about as we enjoyed each course and review the whole day. My wife found the trip very impressive & I was elated seeing her beaming with joy.
